Collective financing applied to the Argentine real estate sector proposes a different way of getting closer to real estate: instead of requiring a high upfront capital, it allows several people to contribute partial amounts and support residential works, building refurbishments, neighbourhood improvements and new housing projects.
The entire journey happens within a digital environment. Each user reviews the published initiatives, compares terms and conditions, and decides on their own how much to allocate. The contributions are pooled and assigned to a specific development; once the stated terms are met, the results are distributed among participants in proportion to their contribution.
In the Argentine context, with sustained housing demand, urban growth and attention placed on property values, this scheme has been gaining visibility as an alternative form of participation. Real estate thus stops being perceived as an exclusive terrain of large developers, institutional funds or high net-worth investors.
The range of projects is broad: apartment towers, housing complexes, restorations of older properties, urbanisation works and initiatives of different scale. That variety allows participation to fit very different profiles, budgets and time horizons.
